That is a gorgeous photo of the two dogs on the sofa with “Dad”. The dogs look like they’re really enjoying it, but a little embarrassed at the same time!

Hi there..
Uschi certainly is a lovely looking girl.. you can always tell when there is Gunalt in the blood-line. I have two Weimeraners both of strong Gunalt ancestry, Ruby and Oscar. Rubes we had from a pup and is now 18 months old. We decided to add to our family but took on Oscar last October who was 2 years old instead of another pup and everything has worked out great. The pictures you’ve taken of Ushi certainly capture the fun loving, full of life characteristics of a Weim and I see so much of my two in her. Ruby however hates water having fallen in my parents pond at 9 months, she won’t even walk through a puddle! Oscar on the other hand is a typical boy, the dirtier the water the better!!!

We just adopted a stray dog that was assumed to be part weimaraner and part black lab, as we look and in accordance with our vet, we believe he might be a blue Weimaraner, how can we tell? He has the ears, hair type, color eyes, big paws, deep chest, small waistline and the disposition of our first Weimaraner, which is grey. The only thing is, he is jet black (bluish nails.) Is there a sure way of telling if a dog is a Blue Weimaraner?
