Uschi had her drain taken out at the vets last night. She’s also allowed the head collar off just as long as she doesn’t try and chew the stitches. So we took it off when we got home and just put it on for overnight. She’s so happy having the collar off! The stitches come [...]

Uschi had a second operation yesterday morning. This operation tidied up the mess of the last one and put in a drain to allow the excess fluid to leak away. It doesn’t look pretty but in a lot of ways it looks better than after the first operation. Just the stitches look better done. The [...]

Well, we took Uschi to the vet on Tuesday morning to have her stitches out. We told the vet that the fluid keeps accumulating and bursting through the top of the wound. He said it was still ok to have the stitches out. 10 minutes after we got home, the fluid had burst through again, [...]
