Uschi went back to the orthopaedic vets yesterday and had her external fixator removed at last! All the cliches are worrying here: it’s make or break, it’s crunch time…(!) we hope the bone is strong enough and leg will hold solid. The x-rays were not conclusive but she should be fine! Uschi returned to the orthopaedic vets yesterday. X-rays showed that the bone graft looked very good from most angles, but one of the x-rays wasn’t conclusive enough to be fully confident.
