We recently visited the beach with Uschi She can only have shorter walks now because of her front leg, but she still loves being out and about.

An Evening Walk

We take Uschi for a short walk in the evening. She has recently discovered a pet rabbit behind a fence that we pass. She can almost touch his nose and is absolutely fascinated! Unfortunately she pulls on her lead until she gets to see the rabbit… come on dad, hurry up!!!

Snow, again

It’s been snowing here today which meant the golf course was shut and we could sneak a walk on it! We always think golf courses would be so much better as parks anyway…

Uschi on Holiday

We went on holiday last month and had a beautiful and relaxing week away in Cumbria on the coast. Uschi had at least 2 long walks a day and so she was in her element! We stayed at a harbour cottage in the little coastal village of Haverigg.

Retro Uschi

I’ve recently got a new phone and the phone has a camera and a rather jazzy photo application which makes retro looking photos.

We often walk at Linacre Reservoirs with Uschi.

There are some lovely colours in the woods at the moment as the leaves fall.

We went for a walk in some local woodlands recently. The colours of the fallen leaves are lovely at this time of year. Uschi enjoys all the lovely smells!

Uschi’s favourite things

Sorry for the hiatus in blog posts over the summer! Uschi has been up to her usual favourite things: sleeping and walking

This morning we went to one of Uschi’s favourite spots, Linacre Reservoirs. It was a lovely morning.

Plenty of ducks to keep watch over.

Once the walk is over it’s time for some sleep to save up enough energy for the next time.

She really likes to be spoilt and loves being covered in a blanket to keep her warm!

The excitement of going for a walk

Uschi loves walks more than anything else Here she is by the front door with her lead and collar on, ready to go.

She doesn’t mind where she goes for a walk, she just loves walking.

She’s always dashing about.

The only bit of the walk that she doesn’t like is the end where the lead comes back on and it’s time to get in the car…
