Uschi went back to the orthopaedic vets yesterday and had her external fixator removed at last! All the cliches are worrying here: it’s make or break, it’s crunch time…(!) we hope the bone is strong enough and leg will hold solid. The x-rays were not conclusive but she should be fine! Chilling in the garden

It’s been lovely and warm today so Uschi has been relaxing in the garden 🙂 It is nearly 2 weeks since she last saw the vet and another 4 weeks till we plan to see him again. It’s a waiting game, just hoping her bone grafts are growing day-by-day!
