Uschi had a great holiday!

This morning we went to one of Uschi’s favourite spots, Linacre Reservoirs.  It was a lovely morning.

Plenty of ducks to keep watch over.

Once the walk is over it’s time for some sleep to save up enough energy for the next time.

She really likes to be spoilt and loves being covered in a blanket to keep her warm!

It was a gorgeous day.

The beach is long and wide (unless it’s very high tide) and it also has a art installation, “Another Place” by Antony Gormley.  Another Place is 100 life sized cast iron sculptures of the artist and they are placed at various spots along 3 km of the beach.  It’s well worth a visit.

Here are a couple of shots of one of the sculptures that is being slowly swallowed by the building sand!

And one image I took some time ago and remains a personal favourite.

It’s well worth a visit and the dog gets a good walk too!

She ends up rather wet and soggy

She moves pretty fast so it does take several attempts to get a decent shot of her moving!

We often go the canal and she finds the ducks rather facinating. If they move too quickly or if they quack at her then she gets very worried

We haven’t had much sun yet this year but every opportunity and Uschi is outside warming herself in the sun.

One of Uschi’s favourite walks is at some local reservoirs and we’ve been going there regularly too.

We spent a lot of time walking on the gorgeous beaches of Anglesey.

She loves to splash about in water and gets pretty soggy!

She loves chewing seaweed stalks.

She loves running about.

Some of the beaches had snow on them (this was the first week of 2010 when, unusually, the UK had snow pretty much everywhere).

Just stunning landscapes.

At the end of a tiring day a dog needs to rest.  It’s especially nice to have a blanket to keep you extra warm and comfy.

It’s always good to find a stick and the stranger the shape or the bigger the stick, the better.

She doesn’t like walking on the board-walk, it’s all a bit scary.

Uschi likes water, but is frightened of ducks.

We met Luna (in the pink collar) and Murphy (partially hidden behind Uschi) while we were on the walk!

There was a lot of sniffing going on.
