Uschi Climbs Cat Bells
Jan 16th, 2009 by Alison
Uschi is 3 today!!! She’s had a very busy day because her best friend, Ferdy, has come to stay for a few days
We’ll have photographs of that soon
Last week we went to The Lake District in Cumbria, northern England. It was a chilly week but great for walking. Here is Uschi at Cat Bells next to Derwent Water, Keswick. We did a lovely walk and you can download a map and directions from Keswick.org here. There are sheep on Cat Bells but fortunately she only needed to be on a lead for a short time because most of the time they were out of sight.

Here are the three of us at the top of Cat Bells

And here was Uschi at the end of the day with a warm pink belly

Alison……..The pictures are absolutely beautiful!! Your side of the world is gorgeous! You should see us here, we have had 100 inches of snow so far and today it is -2 below zero! Needless to say our Bailey and Bella go out side quickly and do their bussiness and come right back in! I have to say, this is unusual for Erie, Pa. USA. Oh,……and the red collar on Uschi looks awesome in the photos. Nice touch! HAPPY BIRTHDAY USCHI! Hope you had a special day! Your friends in the U.S.
Uschi uschi uschi!!!! Happy Birthday. Three years of absolutely delightful pictures and posts. Thank you so much. One of these days, we will post a picture of our beloved Skyler, who will be 3 on February 22. Actually, I have one of Skyler and my husband in the snow last weekend, how do I attach it?
Alison, thanks so much for sharing! Your pics are great – it’s absolutely gorgeous on your side of the world! I love getting Uschi pictures! Happy Birthday to her! XOXOX
