Uschi at Mam Tor
Jan 4th, 2009 by Alison
We took a walk at Mam Tor in the Derbyshire Peak District recently. There is a former road at the base of Mam Tor that had to be closed in 1979 because it became futile for the council to keep repairing it. Since then it has heavily slipped and subsided and is very broken and stepped.

She loves rushing around and gets annoyed if you stop too long, here she is barking at us because we had stopped to take photographs of her and photos of the view.

She loves posing too.

More barking…

More posing…

The sun was shining and starting to melt the frost underfoot.

Uschi poses in front of the view of Hope Valley.

We are very lucky to live so close (about 17 miles) to such a beautiful area.

Beautiful. Both Uschi & the views. Any sheep in that area?
If you look at the picture on the lower left, it looks like maybe some sheep! Alison, as always, your photos are breath taking. Uschi looks adorable as well!
Hi Lesley and Nancy Jo, there were sheep in nearby fields but none around the paths we walked on so we were lucky to be able to let Uschi off the lead. She’s pretty rubbish at walking on the lead, she always pulls and has to be reminded all the time to walk to heel
She’s great off lead because she never strays too far and usually comes back when called
Hello! I just came across your Blog & I have spent the last hour looking at photos of Uschi! She is beautiful!
We have a 6 month old (Jan21st) Blue Weim named Hunter. We are enjoying him very much & I see alot of the Weim traits in your Uschi and Hunter.
I believe it’s Uschi’s 3rd Birthday tomorrow! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
