An Uschi Update

I’ve been neglecting the blog again! Uschi has been finding the heat hard going at times, so she’s spent a lot of time with her tummy in the air – I assume it’s an attempt to keep cool!
Her operation scar is healing nicely. Her fur hasn’t completely grown back, but is getting there. It’s only really the base of the scar that shows, maybe that will reduce in time. Since leaving the first cowboy of a vet we’ve heard all sorts of bad things about them. We wish we’d heard the horror stories before we trusted Uschi with them.
At the end of the day we have a lovely happy weimaraner, typically a naughty weimaraner, but lovely nonetheless!
And thanks to Julie who owns the gorgeous SH CH Gunalt Wharfe at Rockleyan (known as Aiger) who is Uschi’s granddaddy! Julie sent us this lovely picture of Aiger with his Aunt Molly (Rockleyan Ringleader’s sister). They’re both stunning looking dogs!
