An Operation at the Vets

Uschi had a second operation yesterday morning. This operation tidied up the mess of the last one and put in a drain to allow the excess fluid to leak away. It doesn’t look pretty but in a lot of ways it looks better than after the first operation. Just the stitches look better done. The vet also spent more time explaining things to us. We already feel a lot more confident in the new vet.
She’s enjoying the sun in the garden this morning.
Look away now if you don’t want to see her gory back with the rubber drain tubes poking out.
We just hope that this will sort things out for Uschi and she can go back to being the wonderful happy doggie that she is trying to be!
