Uschi the Weimaraner

Sorry I’ve been rubbish at keeping Uschi’s blog updated recently!

We visited family in Merseyside over Christmas and let Uschi have a run on the beach.  Her left foreleg is still a problem with the osteoarthritis but occasional walks off-lead don’t seem to cause too much of a problem for her

And this was a couple of days later on another walk at the same beach

You can see how bent the joint is in her left foreleg in the last shot, but at least she can still enjoy an occasional run on the beach!  We are still expecting for her to need an operation to stabilise the joint in the future, but for now she is coping OK

Uschi is a bit fed up today, she’s got a poorly tummy and is refusing to eat any food. She loves being wrapped in a blanket when she’s feeling sorry for herself!

Uschi demonstrates that she can sleep in a variety of places and a variety of positions!

In July we spent a week on holiday in Devon, Uschi had a great time seeing the sights and relaxing in the garden of the holiday let we stayed at.
